Scandic Sourcing sponsors World Expo pavilion

World Expo 2010 in Shanghai is expected to be the biggest expo ever with more than 200 countries and international organizations participating. Scandic Sourcing has been selected as an official sponsor of the Swedish pavilion.


Mr. Per Linden, President of Scandic Sourcing and Mrs. Annika Rembe Commissioner General of the Swedish Expo Committee signed the sponsoring contract.



Scandic Sourcing will provide recruitment services of guides to staff the Swedish pavilion. About 60 high performing, Chinese speaking and service minded young people will get a unique experience to participate in a global event.
Scandic Sourcing has a team with a long experience of sourcing staff, recruitment, HR management and advising and supporting companies who start up new ventures in China.


Scandic Sourcing use systematic and objective methods to evaluate suppliers and staff ensuring the optimum result.

The World Expo 2010 will run between May 1 and October 31, 2010 with estimated 70 million visitors mostly from China. The theme for 2010 is "Better City, Better Life" focusing on better living conditions in cities as an answer to the explosive population growth.

The Swedish pavilion
The Swedish overall message is "Spirit of Innovation" with a sustainable approach that includes environmental technologies, social and economic aspects.
The Swedish pavilion, built as a temporary building with 3000 square meters, contains an exhibition, VIP area and other facilities such as offices for all partner companies. Some of the sponsors are Volvo, Ericsson, IKEA, SKF, Atlas Copco and now Scandic Sourcing.
